Opswise Automation Center 1.7 Now Available!

The development team has been busy at work again, releasing Opswise Automation Center. 1.7.

Key Enhancements Include:
  • Removal of ODBC as a pre-requisite on ALL platforms of Automation Center. Communication between HUB and CORE components is now accomplished via TCP/IP Sockets
  • Support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0
  • Support for Mozilla Firefox 4.0 & 5.0
  • Corrected Issues relating to Next Scheduled Time and Reporting with Apple Safari
  • Previously, when renaming a task, its new name would not be reflected in the workflow. Renaming is now captured in workflows in 1.7
  • Improvements in navigation between child workflows and parent workflows in the Workflow Definition Editor
  • Problems using Wildcards on File Monitors on all platforms beyond Linux has been fixed
  • Numerous defects relating to using wildcards on FTP File Monitors and SFTP File Monitors has been corrected
  • Timeouts relating to Retrieving Output has been corrected
  • Issues relating to Environment Variables on Windows not being set

Integration with Stonebranch Indesca and Infitran Agents

With this release, Stonebranch Agents appear in the topology alongside the existing OpsWise Agent Technology, and share the notification and visibility benefits

Indesca Task Type

OpsWise Automation Center can now run workload on any server with an Indesca Agent installed

File Transfer Task now supports Infitran

In addition to FTP and SFTP, Automation Center now supports Infitran - Managed File Transfer

Graphical Forecast

Improvelments to forecasting have been made to provide a calendar-based view of your forecast data

Application State Monitoring

No longer just submit tasks - you can now monitor and control Services, Daemons, and Started Tasks enterprise-wide from a single point of control

System Resource Monitor - Disk Space

Monitor to determine if you have enough disk space before running .
